In celebration of the resurrection of our Savior, I felt like sharing with you the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time that gives glory to God! It is a Hebrew song with the Words of Jesus (ישוע Yeshua) from Matthew 6:9-13, better known as “The Lord’s Prayer.” It is how we are to pray to our Father (אָבִינוּ a·vi·nu) in Heaven (שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם she·ba·sha·ma·yim). If you are wanting to learn Hebrew, listening to musical lyrics is a great tool to start out considering that musical recall is naturally more automatic as opposed to reading or listening to spoken word. This means that listening to a language within a melody can dramatically increase your ability to recall and recognize words. There are some repeated and added phrases to this particular song, so below the video I have included the English, Hebrew and Hebrew pronunciation of the Lord’s prayer so that you may learn to recite it. Note that the Hebrew language is read from right to left. I have also enclosed a quick reference guide of the Hebrew alphabet, pronunciation and transliteration. I hope you find this beneficial. Also note the new bonus Hebrew song at the bottom of the page. Praise be to God in all things!

Here is another Hebrew song which touched my Spirit. It is called “Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai” (ברוך הבא בשם יהוה) This has a special meaning. Jesus said in Matthew 23:39, “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’” This saying is what it means:
Baruch ברוך-Blessed is
b’Shem בשם-who comes in the name of
Adonai יהוה – The Lord
Hallelujah הַלְּלוּיָהּ – Praise The Lord!
Let us hasten the Lord’s coming Kingdom by exclaiming these words! Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai!!!!
!!!!ברוך הבא בשם יהוה
