Kim Jong Il Dead – Prototype of an Anti-Christ

Breaking news released that Kim Jong Il, North Korean’s notorious dictator, died at age 69 of a heart attack on a train on December 17, 2011. Its citizens were not told about his death until two days later. In the wake of the death of North Korean’s “Dear Leader,” much of the control of the most secluded country in the world remains in the hands of its unknown next leader. Will they try to reign over the people similarly to Kim Jong Il and his father, Kim II Sung? Rumor has it that the 20-something son, Kim Jong Un, may be the next dictator. He has no political experience and may be unstable for the country.

Citizens mourn and bow to their former leaders

For almost two decades, Kim Jong Il baffled the world with his cult-like leadership. He frequently had parades of nuclear missiles and convinced his citizens that he was the most powerful man in all the world. The secrecy of North Korea is so heightened that international travel inside and outside of the country is extremely limited. Travel to different areas within the county is only allowed by permit. Anyone who is allowed to visit has to get special permission to take any photographs, which most are denied. Visitors are accompanied by government “minders” and usually only taken to places which appear ideal, although much of the country is starving. North Korea only has four state runned T.V stations, much of which display false propaganda against the world and lifting Kim Jong Il to deity status. The country provides no internet access to citizens (aside from government officials) and only 2% of the country has cell phone access which only make calls within the country.

The seclusion of North Korea puts its citizens into a delusional state of worship of their former leader. Bibles and Christian literature were banned from being sold in the country, so Kim Jong Il was their replacement god. Ironically, he borrowed heavily from Christian imagery and always has a glowing hallow around his head. He forced the citizens to bow to a shrine of photographs of he and his father in every home and anyone who did not comply has been put into a prison camp.

When you take a group of people and seclude them to such an extent, you can likely convince them of just about anything. Many citizens believed that his father, Kim II Sung, created the world! He was like God to them. Kim Jong Il was set up to be like Jesus and was called their “eternal leader.” He was said to be able to control the weather by simply shouting to the sky. His birth was said to be supernatural. North Koreans were told that he was born on a sacred mountain and a star shined bright in the sky on the night of his birth like the nativity of Jesus. Then, the seasons suddenly changed from winter to spring and rainbows appeared all over the sky.  This is what the country has been told, although the truth is that he was born in a guerrilla camp in Russia while his father was on the run from the Japanese.

The future of North Korea is uncertain. Will the son, Kim Jong Un, take over and perpetuate the secluded control of the country? Or will his young blood thrust the country into more freedom and change? Some worry that he will show a sign of his power by using bombs to attack South Korea or neighboring countries. South Korea and Japan remain on high alert after Kim Jong Il’s death. Either way, North Korea serves as a blueprint to the control that can occur under a dictatorship and its former leaders are a blueprint model of the anti-Christ. The only difference is that the majority of the world know that they were insane. The real anti-Christ will rise to power in a time of world disaster and most will love him and believe that he is the savior of the world. It is stated in Revelation that he will survive a fatal head injury and wow the world with his miraculous recovery. He will bring peace in the beginning which will be followed by a horrific dictatorship unlike the world has ever seen, surpassing Kim Jong Il, Hitler and Stalin. The best thing to do is to be spiritually prepared and learn the signs of his coming by reading the book of Revelation in the Bible. Until then, we can observe these prototypes of the anti-Christ such as Kim Jong Il.

About moanti (moe·on·tee)

http://turn.to/gaychristians My main mission of this blog is to demystify the confusion of “homosexuality” in the Bible and let the rarely heard alternative perspective be known. I also aspire to spread the loving word of Christ to the gay and lesbian community who feel left out due to our society. I have extraordinary compassion for gays and lesbians who have struggled with religious persecution, but hope that they can come to know God as loving rather than run from Him forever due to a group of naïve heterosexual Christians who discriminated against them. I want to bridge the gap of these two groups with knowledge! If only I had a bigger podium to accomplish this… Please spread the word. Thank you and happy reading!
